In 1922, Bowral Bricks were established in a small way on the
outskirts of the picturesque township of Bowral nestled in the
heart of the Southern Highlands.
Over the years as the needs of industry and housing increased,
so too did the output. From humble beginnings servicing the local
gentry, Bowral Bricks grew into a large industrial concern employing
many people and producing an extensive range of bricks for customers
throughout Australia.
Today, Bowral Bricks is owned by Brickworks Ltd, the Parent company
to The Austral Brick Company Pty Ltd. Brickworks Ltd is recognised
as one of Australia's leading manufacturers of quality clay building
products.
The combination of traditional craftsmanship with modern technology
